This 1938 Crosley Radio
was saved from the dumpster. Many of these old radios that were not taken care of end up being stripped of parts and broken up for the dump. This one was on it's way. The old finish was stripped and three new coats of lacquer were applied. The knobs and the cloth were replaced and some basic wiring was done to light up it's beautiful shiny face. It's made of Walnut veneers and solid brass. We are going to treasure this beauty for so many years to come.. A Bluetooth speaker does live inside the cabinet and the music resonates beautifully inside the acoustic guitar like wooden case. This gem can be heard pumping out music from Glenn Miller to Pink Floyd.
