Handmade books often come out of a collaboration that begins with the writer/artist who conceives of the idea for the project and a combination of binder, printer, calligrapher, graphic or book designer, papermaker and so on.

At Keatseye Book Work we strive to be a connecting point between all these services. As the binder, we start
one-on-one with the client and provide collaboration with the various artisans that will be needed for each project. The bindery is located in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts which has the great distinction of being the home of many people who work
in the book arts.
