This project was commissioned by a returning client with a deep appreciation for fine exotic woods. He provided detailed photos and sketches to convey his vision. The finished pieces are crafted from rich Mahogany and Ebony, topped with elegant Marble surfaces.

This client, a true connoisseur of fine exotic woods, enjoys surrounding himself with beautifully crafted examples of rare species. Collaborating with me allowed him to live with the original tables—graced with rich Mahogany drawer fronts—for a year before envisioning a new expression. He asked me to replace the fronts with luminous Curly Maple, bringing a fresh energy and deeper contrast to the Mahogany sides and solid Ebony handles. To the right is the same cabinet, transformed with this subtle yet striking evolution.
